Warranty & Support
Our Commitment
At FIBRICA, we believe every rug represents an investment in craftsmanship, materiality, and design. Each product is handcrafted in Colombia under controlled manufacturing processes, using carefully selected materials and an internal quality control protocol to ensure consistency, structural integrity, and long-term performance.
This Limited Manufacturer Warranty is intended to provide coverage for manufacturing defects in accordance with the applicable laws governing the sale of our products.
1. Warranty Coverage
All products manufactured by FIBRICA are covered by a one (1) year Limited Manufacturer Warranty, effective from the date of delivery.
This warranty applies exclusively to defects directly attributable to FIBRICA's manufacturing process that affect the structural integrity, functionality, or performance of the product.
Manufacturing defects may include, but are not limited to:
-
Delamination or separation of the backing system caused by manufacturing deficiencies.
-
Structural failures within the woven construction affecting the rug's stability.
-
Defects in the assembly or bonding of structural components.
-
Failure of adhesive systems resulting from the manufacturing process.
-
Defective edge finishing or structural binding that compromises the intended performance of the product.
-
Any other condition technically determined to have originated during FIBRICA's manufacturing process.
Characteristics inherent to natural fibers, handcrafted production methods, or the behavior of natural materials shall not be considered manufacturing defects.
2. Characteristics of Handcrafted Production
Every FIBRICA rug is individually handcrafted using traditional weaving techniques and carefully selected natural materials.
As a result of this artisanal process, each piece possesses unique characteristics that are considered part of its authenticity and shall not be interpreted as manufacturing defects.
These characteristics include:
-
Dimensional variations of up to ±2%, considered acceptable within handcrafted textile production.
-
Natural variations in color and appearance inherent to the fibers.
-
Natural differences in fiber thickness.
-
Occasional knots, joins, twists, or irregular fiber winding resulting from the spinning process.
-
Natural variations in surface texture created during the manual weaving process.
These characteristics are inherent to handcrafted products and do not affect their quality, durability, or intended performance.
3. Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage resulting from circumstances unrelated to the manufacturing process, including but not limited to:
-
Normal wear of woven fibers or textile surfaces resulting from regular use and foot traffic.
-
Natural fiber compression over time.
-
Staining caused by liquids, food, beverages, oils, dirt, mud, chemicals, or accumulated debris.
-
Damage caused by pets, including scratches, bites, or urine.
-

-
Dragging furniture or heavy objects across the rug.
-
Cuts, punctures, burns, tears, or impact damage.
-
Improper installation, handling, storage, or transportation after delivery.
-

-
Damage resulting from failure to follow the recommendations contained in FIBRICA's Care and Maintenance Guide.
4. Product Identification and Traceability
All FIBRICA products incorporate brand identification elements such as labels, logos, or authenticity markings that allow verification of the product's origin, specifications, and traceability.
Removing, altering, or replacing any of these identification elements constitutes a modification of the product.
If such modification prevents FIBRICA from verifying the authenticity, traceability, or original manufacturing condition of the product, the warranty may not apply to the claimed defect.
5. Product Care
Proper maintenance is essential to preserve the appearance, performance, and longevity of the product.
Official cleaning, care, and maintenance recommendations are available in the FIBRICA Care and Maintenance Guide.
Download the Care and Maintenance Guide here.
6. Warranty Claims

If the warranty is approved, FIBRICA will determine the most appropriate technical solution, which may include:
-
Product repair.
-
Replacement of the affected component.

Another technically equivalent solution.
Where replacement is required, production lead times will correspond to the standard manufacturing schedule in effect at the time the warranty claim is approved.
