A RUG, A STORY
100 % HANDMADE
Each of our rugs is the result of a meticulous, meaningful, and deeply thoughtful handmade process. These are the stages that bring to life a unique piece, crafted in Colombia with artisanal soul:
1. Selection of Raw Materials
It all begins with the choice of materials. Colombian-grown fique, silk cord, cotton, virgin wool, copper, or steel—noble fibers carefully selected one by one for their quality, texture, and character. The essence of the design starts here.

2. Thread Preparation
Before weaving, each thread must be ready to meet the loom. A patient and meticulous process, where skilled hands align, tension, and prepare fibers to form the foundation of what will soon become a textile masterpiece.

3. Loom Setup
The loom is more than a tool—it is an extension of the artisan. Here, the design is defined, every thread is tensioned, and the structure is prepared to weave fibers with rhythm and precision. It is the beginning of the weaving, where everything starts to come alive.
4. Weaving and Structure
Every pass of the thread is a decision. We combine different fibers and textures to create unique compositions. Once the weaving is complete, it is carefully laid out on a flat surface, precisely aligned, and a special latex backing is applied to give the rug body, firmness, and durability.
5. Final Cutting
After drying, the rug is cut with millimeter precision. Each edge is defined in length and width with accuracy, marking the completion of a technical, creative, and deeply human process.

6. Edge Finishing
The final stitch says it all. The border is sewn by hand, with needle and patience, following the entire contour of the rug. It is the finishing gesture, the invisible seal of craftsmanship that makes each piece truly one-of-a-kind.
